Governor lalong presents #139.3billion 2023 budget

 The governor of plateau state Simon bako lalong presented a proposed 2023 budget of one hundred and thirty nine billion,three hundred and fifty  seven million,one hundred and forty four thousand,nine hundred and eighty naira,thirty eight Kobo (139,357,144,980.38) appropriation bill to the plateau state house of assembly.

The governor tag the budget as  budget of infrastructural consolidation and transition the budget will focus on completing major projects across the state.

The governor said seventy seven billion,six hundred and fifty million,six hundred and forty two thousand,thirty naira and eighty five Kobo (77,650,642,030.85) is for recurrent  expenditure while sixty one billion,seven hundred and six million five hundred and two thousand,nine hundred and forty nine naira,fifty three Kobo (61,706,502,949.53) is for capital component which represent 44.27%

While presenting the budget lalong said he will ensure prudent, accountable transparency,and judicious use of the money to improve the lives of the citizens.

The speaker  Rt hon sanda yakubu Said the house will  give the budget all necessary attention in order to ensure it passage.
